Steve Iiams started The Tooling Zone in 1994 in Kettering, Ohio with one manual lathe, one manual mill, and one employee. In 2003 the company’s first Haas CNC Mill was purchased, which started the evolution of the company to what it is today: a 50,000 square foot manufacturing facility in Springboro, Ohio that employs over 60 people.

With a continual investment in all aspects of CNC machining, The Tooling Zone has become a major supplier of precision parts, fixturing, and gauges for some of the largest companies in the world. The Tooling Zone’s manufacturing vertical markets include Aerospace, Medical, Robotics and Food Service industries.
